Franzette received a B-Tech degree in Drama and specialized in Vocal, Dance and Movement. She believes in giving each student a safe environment, a place where they can feel at ease with who they are. She is also a qualified life coach, and was seen as “Elna” in Binnelanders (KykNet). As a Dramatic and Literary Organisations Competition Winner she believes that Drama classes are the way of the future, “moulding” our youth into the leaders og the future”.



Marne is an all-rounder, that is not only a grade 6 UNISA graduate but also a Dance & Drama teacher. She is not shy to try new ideas, and each class is interesting and exciting! She will push you to do your utmost best with every step in training, paying attention not only to technical detail but also to the emotion and story that every piece should express. The best part is that she does this kindly and patiently.



Sensei Michael van der Westhuizen is an international recognized Karate instructor, with a Diploma in his 5th dan Shotokan Karate-do as a professional. Karate is not only a sport to him but a passion. Michael has been an instructor for over 20 years. He has attended International and World Championships as well as attending International Seminars on coaching referee and judging.



Annika is a wonderful instrumental teacher who makes every class interesting and enjoyable, she is also a great mentor. She is experienced with grade 6 TRINITY and is on the UNISA honor roll. She is also a Math & Science Major, with lots of patience with each student. She studied Art in Europe, with great success.



This lovely lady started modelling when she was 8 years old. If you see Suzanne-Mari on a ramp, you can understand why she can boast with the 130 titles under her name, some including Top Models SA, Model of the Year, Miss Valentine, Miss Spring and many more. In 2017, Suzanne-Mari was also a finalist for Mrs Mpumalanga 2018.


Frontstage was founded by Franzette van Niekerk in 2006. From a small drama school, it has evolved into a all-encompassing Performing Arts Studio. All under one roof, you can find Drama, Vocal, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Guitar, Flute, Piano, Art, Modeling, Maths & Reading. It’s definitely your one-stop destination for all things in Arts! We believe in developing young minds and forming good habits. Performing Arts is not only for extroverted children, it can also help build their self-esteem and assist our kids in making their dreams a reality. Group classes help students to make friends and learn to be tolerant, giving and to be able to motivate each other. And yes, it is also important to provide our students with a non-judgmental platform creating a space where they can grow, have fun, and showcase their God-given talents!

Unique and industry relevant qualifications in Dance, Drama, Vocal, Art, Guitar, Keybord & Musical Theatre.

With the help of organisations in England and Wales, Frontstage DANSA, uses the following organisations for examinations: * Performing Arts Awards (PAA), * Rockschool (RSL) levels. These examinations range from medal to full exams each year. From absolute beginner (Premiere) to advanced (Grade 8). Developed by industry specialists, this exam is specifically designed to measure, assess and reward progress whilst encouraging innovation and creativity.


Each year we take part in the NATIONAL EISTEDDFOD ACADEMY OF SOUTH AFRICA (NPC) that is known as the platformof choice for many young performers. It takes culture to your doorstep with regional eisteddfod events where performers can experience the magic of the arts while singing, dancing, acting, playing and painting to their heart’s delight! The National Eisteddfod of South Africa promotes and encourages participation in the arts and provides a powerful tool that builds self-confidence and the courage to take a stand in this world serves as a springboard to prepare talented performers for a career in the performing arts , prides itself on giving young performers the sense of Ubuntu, a quality that embodies the universal bond of sharing and connecting communities. The National Eisteddfod of South Africa is registered trademark of the National Eisteddfod Academy NPC, who has since 1997 developed the tradition form of Welsh music and poetry festival, into a no-limitations platform.
